In this multidistrict litigation, former
professional football players contend that
the NFL failed to properly investigate, warn
of, and revise league rules to minimize the
risk of concussive and sub-concussive hits
in football games. A prior version of the
settlement was rejected by the Court in
January 2014. The Court expressed concerns
that the capped fund would exhaust before
the 65-year life of the Settlement. Under
the revised deal, the NFL agreed to pay
all valid claims over the duration of the
settlement regardless of the total cost.
The NFL agreed to pay $75 million for
baseline medical exams for retired-players;
and $10 million for concussion research and
education. The NFL also agreed to narrow
the scope of releases.

April 22, 2015.

The action arises from the sale of $17.58
billion of mortgage-backed certificates that
entitle the holder to income payments from
pools of mortgage loans and/or mortgage-
backed securities that Bear Stearns
originated or purchased from third-party
originators. The Plaintiffs allege that the
Defendants misrepresented the quality of the
loans in the loan pools causing the
certificates to be assigned investment-grade
ratings.

A class of technical, creative, and research
and development employees allege that
several high-technology companies agreed not
to recruit each other's employees through
"cold calling", in violation of antitrust
laws. Defendants Intuit Inc., Lucasfilm,
Ltd. and Pixar previously settled the claims
against them for $20 million. Adobe Systems
Incorporated, Apple Inc., Google Inc., and
Intel Corporation agreed to settle the
claims against them for $324 million but the
Court rejected the deal in 2014, saying the
amount was not high enough to compensate for
the lost wages employees may have suffered.
Final settlement approval granted on
September 2, 2015.

amount, the Class is due to receive a
distribution of $155 million pursuant to a
