TORO COMPANY: Recalls Riding Mowers Due to Fire Hazard
------------------------------------------------------
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with
The Toro Company, of Bloomington, Minn., announced a voluntary
recall of about 8,600 2015 Toro TimeCutter Riding Mowers (in
addition, about 400 were sold in Canada). Consumers should stop
using this product unless otherwise instructed.  It is illegal to
resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.

The fuel filters on the mowers can become brittle and fractured,
allowing fuel to leak and posing a fire hazard.

The 2015 TimeCutter riding mowers are red and black, with a gray
seat. "TORO" is printed on the front and sides of the mower. A
black and white "TIMECUTTER" decal is located in front of the
operator seat. The model number and serial number are located on a
decal affixed to the frame, under the seat. The following models
are subject to this recall.

  Model Number       Serial Number Range

                     315001400 - 315001493

have been reported.

The recalled products were manufactured in United States and sold
at Home Depot and other hardware, lawn and garden stores
nationwide from November 2014 through October 2015 for about
$3,400.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled mowers and
